Jennifer Buchanan is the VP of Walmart Academy at Walmart. In her role, Jennifer is responsible for a learning ecosystem that supports millions of Walmart associates with the development resources they need to be effective today while setting them up for success and opportunities for development in the future.
During the conversation, Jennifer spoke about the Manager Academy, a program aimed at developing leadership skills through purpose-driven training focused on culture, values, and empathy for thousands of Walmart’s store manager. Jennifer also highlighted Walmart’s investment in their associates' growth, including the global expansion of the Manager Academy and the introduction of programs like Live Better U. along with the company’s commitment to fostering a learning culture.
